WW2 / Korean War Springfield M1C Garand Sniper Rifle in .30-06 Caliber
* w/ M84 Scope, Mount, Base, Flash Hider, & CMP Certificate, Etc. *
Description: This is a late WW2 Springfield M1 Garand that was rebuilt by the U.S. Military into a M1C for the Korean War. This M1C comes with U.S.G.I. original base and scope mount, an original U.S.G.I. Leupold-built M84 Scope (serial # 894), a Hart Mfg. Co M2 Flash Hider, and a U.S.G.I. style leather sling. While the Griffin & Howe made scope mount and rings are numbered, it is not matching to the gun or scope. The same goes for the original U.S.G.I. base, which is also numbered to a different gun. This was very common on arsenal rebuilds for the Korean War. This M1C is in very good to excellent condition overall both inside and out, and is 100% functional just like the day it left the U.S. Military Arsenal. This rifle comes with the original CMP receipt for purchase, the original CMP certificate, and a receipt from Leupold where they recently serviced the M84 scope. More description to follow....
