1898 30-40 Krag

Description:
Springfield 1898 30 40 Krag- Jorgensen Carbine.  Manufactured in 1899, making it 126 years old and still looking great.  it has a 22 inch barrel and serial number is a carbine.  Im told that the Stock is not quite right for the carbine possibley a cut down rifle stock.  Has period specific Sling and comes with a period specific Scabbard.  The serial number puts it outside of the 5000 original carbines but in the 1899 manufacturing year.  I am not an expert on these so please ask questions and I will be happy to send more pictures.   The scabbard is very interesting and the original cleaning equipment with patches are in the bytt plate access.
