Guns International #: 100406949
Seller's Inventory #: 1463
Name is nicely stamped into butt " J.O. Reiley" as well as FTM carved more by hand on bottom of stock. Lock is dated 1864. Both proofs on left side of barrel. NO barrel date visible. Lock and trigger work like new and not that much corrosion around original nipple. Beautiful uncracked stock but no visible cartouche and one small chip of wood missing at top tang. Still has fire blue on band springs. Balance of gun is basically a clean patina. Bore is pretty rough. This is a true battle field rifle in pretty clean all original condition. A true survivor.
