It has a fixed brass-topped torpedo blade front, an adjustable graduated ladder-style rear sight, a 30" round barrel, a full length finger groove forearm, a straight stock, a curved smooth trigger, a side-loading pop-open 5-round magazine assembly, a steel butt plate with a trap door for a cleaning kit (no cleaning kit included), a bayonet mount, a straight non-swept bolt handle, and sling loops top, middle and bottom. This Krag rifle features a magazine cut-off that allows it to function as a single-shot arm, with the magazine's ammunition supply kept in reserve. It has a walnut stock with inspector cartouche and circle P cartouche.
