Description: Springfield 1898 Custom Sporter .30-40 Krag 22 1/2" Barrel 7lbs 6oz L.O.P. 13" Lyman 57K Receiver Sight Mfg. 1901 Steel is in very good as refinished condition, barrel has been cut and sporting sights added. There is some wear to the bluing with some rub spots, small scratches and nicks. Stock is sleek with a slim wrist and skipline checkering, and is in very good to excellent condition with minor handling marks. Action is "Krag Smooth" and functions properly, bore is bright with strong rifling.
