SA: 329559. Made in 1886 with a 32.5-inch barrel & chambered for the .45-70 Government cartridge. Overall good condition with a bright bore with strong rifling & a wood stock that is in better shape than you would expect for a military service rifle that is more than a century old. The stock has some dents & dings but it is otherwise solid & serviceable. A maker cartouche is faintly visible on the left side of the stock just above the trigger. Rifle is equipped with a Buffington rear sight assembly & it comes with a cleaning rod as well as a 21-inch Model 1873 socket bayonet with metal scabbard & belt hanger. Consignment
