U.S. Springfield 1879 Trapdoor .45-70 carbine rifle. Carbine is in overall great condition. Metal has a brown patina. Stock is good, shows handling wear. Cartouche is faint and appears to be 1887 dated. Stock has a complete cleaning kit. Bore is bright with minor frosting. Great looking carbine!
