"U.S. Springfield Model 1877 trapdoor Carbine .45-70 (AL8028)

Serial No. 88968, 22"" round barrel chambered in .45-70 manufactured in 1878. Overall good condition, metal is a dark grey patina with surface oxidation noted. Bore is good with some frosting noted in the grooves. Wood shows handling and usage wear with cartouches present.
