Description: Marked on the breech block is 1884. It has the typical Buffington rear sight. 32-1/2 inch barrel chambered in 45-70 Govt. caliber with a good shiny bore. Ramrod bayonet is absent. Correct sling swivels. Wood has the usual handling mars but sound and solid. It has a cartouche "SWP/1891". Barrel has turned a plum/brown color. Good markings.
