.58rf, NVSN, 36 inch barrel, block release, breech block and hammer blue, remaining metal "in the white", walnut full length stock, EAS and SWP cartouches faint but visible, 1865 dated lock, 2 barrel bands, butt plate tang marked "US' and "36", excellent mechanically, excellent marks, crack from barrel tang to rear of lack plate.
I believe this to be an original "Cadet model" 1865 conversion.
Condition: strong rifling with scattered blemishes, excellent smooth silver metal, 98% blue on block release, breech block and hammer, .very good wood with scattered use dings.
