Description: Gentleman, for sale is a Springfield model 1884 Trap door, in 45-70 caliber. This gun is in very good condition. Everything on this gun works and is in very good condition. Specifications as follows: 36” barrel, good bore, 14” LOP, wood is very solid with no cracks, the bayonet is in great shape and moves very easily in and out of the rifle., rifle has some case color on the inside of the trap door and side lock. I tried to get good pictures of the cartouches so the experts in the audience can figure out the date of manufacture and the history of this rifle. Serial # 53210 or 532106.
