Here is a Springfield 1873 Trapdoor Cadet Model with 29 1/2" barrel. Adjustable rear sight for elevation and wind drift. Hooded front sight cover. Blued steel. Caliber is 45/70. Unbeveled lock plate. "VP" Marking on barrel. Other markings were attempted to be shown in the photos. Weight of gun is 8 LBS 4 3/4 OZ. Serial number is 282822. Shipping is $50. Antique firearm can be shipped directly unless local law prohibits (NYC and NJ).
