U.S Springfield Model 1868 Trapdoor .50-70 (AL4647)

Description:

U.S Springfield Model 1868 Trapdoor .50-70 caliber rifle. Metal has areas of brown patina. Breech block and receiver is in the black. Lock plate has beautiful case coloring has dated 1864. Wood is good. Has two sharp cartouches, shows handling and storage marks. Butt plate does have surface pitting. Bore is good, bright with a few small areas of pitting and frosting.
