U.S. Springfield Model 1873 Trapdoor .45-70 (AL4366)

Description:

U.S. Springfield Model 1873 Trapdoor .45-70 caliber carbine. First model trapdoor carbine chambered in .45-70 caliber. Stock is in great shape with cartouches present on stock and lower trigger guard. Barrel has grey patina with traces of bluing. Bore has some minor pitting, retains good rifling. This is a great early carbine that would have been sent out West!
