ORIGINAL, UNALTERED 1873 CUSTER RANGE TRAPDOOR SADDLE RING CARBINE IN THE 41XXX SERIAL NUMBER RANGE, MADE 1875, All original throughout, correct long wrist stock, high arch breech block, correct first model rear sight with slotless screws, 1873 dated lock plate, coarse knurled hammer, surprisingly excellent bore, stock retains faint oval cartouche and circle P cartouche, solid wood with no cracks or chips, uncleaned throughout, metal mostly gray/brown with no pitting or abuse (except some pitting on the butt plate), top of butt plate stamped "26" over "N.G.C." (meaning unknown), rarely found in this unaltered and un-messed with condition.
