US SPRINGFIELD TRAPDOOR RIFLE
Description: Model 1873 with 1881 cartouche still visible. A pretty good looking Springfield with a ramp style 1879 rear ladder sight. An aged color on the bbl with a generous amount of blue remaining. Good to VG bore. Shiny with light roughness. Good rifling. Nice tight lock up on the trapdoor. Hammer and trigger work well. Stock is in good overall condition with typical dings and dents. A good piece of history at a reasonable price.
