PAGE-LEWIS ARMS MODEL 50 SPRINGFIELD JR 22 CALIBER RIFLE
Description:
Page-Lewis Arms started their business in 1921 and produced simply falling block rifles; Model A, Model B, and Model C. Then in 1923 they designed the bolt action Model D for junior shooters. Production on the Model D ran through 1928 when the company was acquired by Savage/Stevens who came out with basically the same Model D with a larger stock and a 24 inch barrel and called is Model 50 Springfield Jr.
Rifle has a 24 inch barrel with a good amount of blue remaining. Good markings. Wood has been refinished and looks good but is shy at the buttplate. Right side of stock has "SVC" inside a circle stamped into the wood. Mechanics function well.
