J. Stevens Model 1915 Favorite, Cal. .32 Long Rim Fire

Description:
J. Stevens Model 1915 Favorite fitted with a 24 inch octagon barrel, brass blade front sight, adjustable for elevation rear sight, walnut forearm, walnut straight grip stock fitted with a Stevens checkered black hard rubber butt-plate, is blue finished, and chambered in .32 Long Rim Fire.  This early Model 1915 (which were made from 1915 to 1940) is in very fine original condition, retaining 70% blue on the barrel, 90% on the breech block, and 80% on the hammer.  The frame has turned a grey patina, as has the lever.  The stock and forearm appear to retain most of their original finishes, with assorted minor handling marks, but no cracks or chips.  The bore is very shootable, is mostly bright, with sharp rifling, but some minor corrosion spotting throughout.  The action is tight, as is the stock to receiver fit, the forearm to barrel fit, and the barrel to receiver fit, and it functions perfectly.  A very nice example of its type.                                     CURIO & RELIC
