Only the fith Case Colored project we have released from our shop to the public. This Stevens 44 was completed in our home shop here in Maine at Turnbull Custom Guns (We are not affilitaed with Turnbull Restoration out of New York Just trying to eliminate confusion) this rifle was used as a sample display and can also be seen at turnbullcustomguns . The receiver is hand charcoal case hardened using a blend of Wood charcoal and Bone Charcoal as seen in our youtube videos ://youtu.be/iY_z9lWDDZs This action has a very tight lock up and an ejector style extractor. It is somewhat of a project gun as the wood has not been worked on and I would highly recommend finishing this rifle off with some wood from CPA. This rifle is chambered in 25 rimfire which could easily be converted with a liner to .22LR. It's a great platform for a truly amazing rifle once fitted with a new stock set. The barrel has been blued and recrowned.

Certification letter included outlining the process used for refinishing our traditional color cased receivers. This rifle will come with certificate # 005 issued from our shop.
