Stevens 441/2, original 22 LR and lined 22 Mag bbl

Description:
This is a Stevens plain model 441/2, with the original bbl lined to 22 LR because the bore was not shootable.  Liner is a TJ's, the best, and shoots very well.  I bought another stevens bbl that has been lined/chambered for 22 Magnum.  It also shoots very well.  This is a survivor that was not given much love, dings in the wood and on the original bbl.  I cleaned up the buttstock fairly well, decided not to go deep enough to totally remove a burn mark on the right side.  The forend has a deep ding.  The original barrel has dings and not much finish, original front sight and I have the original bbl sight. It is shown separately, and the muzzle and breech photos show how well the gunsmith made it hard to see the liner. The 22 Mag bbl I bought is in quite nice shape, lots of original finish.  The lining job looks very nice, bore is perfect, tapped for scope.  I put a junk front sight on just so I could shoot it. Both bbls are 24". The tang sight is a repro that I added.  The action is in fine condition, and I cleaned it thoroughly upon disassembly.  Being a 22 it was not stressed at all.  An old Stevens with two new bores.
