Description:
Here is a neat little Stevens 44 that started life as a .32 rimfire (now obsolete) and was wisely converted to .22 Long Rifle. Perfect bore as relined with a medium heavy barrel. I've shot this rifle and everything works Round barrel retains much of what I think is original finish. I believe the action was originally casehardened but has been cleaned to bright metal. With a proper tang sight I think this would make a fine .22 target rifle. The wood is exceptionally nice with lots of figure. $50 shipping nd insurance to your ffl or C&R.
