STEVENS Model 1915 "FAVORITE" .22 BOYS Rifle Fantastic, Light & Popular in the Early 1900s
Description: STEVENS Model 1915 "FAVORITE" .22 BOYS Rifle Fantastic, Light & Popular in the Early 1900s Here we present a Stevens Model 1915 “Favorite” Falling Block Rifle, made circa 1915 in Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts. This rifle is chambered in .22 WRF and represents one of Stevens’ most prolific lines of rifles, purchased by and for boys and youth in the early 20th Century. This would have been the rifle that a boy learned on, plinked and hunted with. Its falling block loading system was strong, simple and reliable. It also taught the shooter how to make the shot count as it was not a repeater. This one is equipped with a tang-mounted adjustable peep sight as well as an old leather sling. The overall condition is good. The steel parts have a blue finish that has turned gray with age. The markings are clear. The walnut stock is largely smooth and solid. The butt stock is a bit loose due to stripping of the bottom tang screw’s hole. The front sight is absent. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The action is strong and crisp. Own the original! This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Barrel is 25-3/4 inches. Caliber: .22 WRF Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING. Will need to be sent to your local FFL. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Guaranteed AUTHENTIC & Includes CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. ancestryguns $665 #190937 SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
