"Serial no. 9519g. Originally manufactured by Steyr and converted circa the 1930s to 8x56mmR, 20"" round barrel. Bore is good with frosting noted in the grooves, while the rifling remains strong and well defined. Serial numbers are matching, with the bolt force matched. The rifle remains in overall very good condition, retaining a pleasing military appearance with only expected handling and service wear. Converted M95 rifles in 8x56mmR represent Austria’s interwar modernization of the Mannlicher straight-pull system and remain distinctive for their fast, smooth action. Includes bayonet. Action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
