Description: Another “ESTATE” firearm listing brought to you from Dust 2 Dollars. Unlike most sellers here, Dust 2 Dollars shows the complete gun in our pictures along with a detailed description for your consideration. We offer you a “PRISTINE” Steyr-Mannlicher of Austria Model M Full Stock “Carbine “chambered in the Classic 7x57 caliber made in March of 1978. This Carbine wears the 20 inch hammer forged barrel with an excellent bore with no issues. It retains the original factory sights with the front sight hood which is usually missing by now. The high gloss bluing on the Carbine is gorgeous with no signs of use or wear. The Mannlicher “Full Stock” finish shows a few very minor surface marks and overall is in excellent – plus condition. The deluxe skip-line checkering panels are all sharp with no signs of use or wear. It has the factory recoil pad with a L.O.P. of 14 inches measured from the rear trigger. The adjustable “DST” double set triggers were an option and not found very often on this Carbine configuration. The right side of the barrel and the right side of the chamber ring are each marked with a black powder proof, a “NPv” final smokeless proof and a “378” date code. The right side of the chamber ring is also marked with the serial number “87401”. The right rear of the receiver is marked “MADE IN AUSTRIA”. The right side of the barrel at the rear sight is marked “ONORM M3170 STLF3” which is the Austrian standard rifle barrel steel marking. The left side of the barrel is marked “STEYR, GRAND RAPIDS, ID.” and “7x57. The left side of the receiver is marked with a Steyr logo and “STEYR MANNLICHER MOD M”. The bottom of the bolt handle is also marked with the black powder proof, a “NPv” final smokeless proof, “378” date code and the last two number of the serial number “01”. The bottom of the barrel is marked with the full matching serial number “87401”. The magazine is marked with the matching caliber “7x57”. The rifle has Redfield scope mounts and bottom attaching scope rings for a clean look. In them is a Leupold VARI-X III 2.5x8 scope that is in excellent condition. This is a 43 year old complete package that is in gorgeous condition which we have shown completely in the pictures for your consideration. $2,199 plus $65 shipping to your FFL fully insured with signature required.
