STEYR ORIGINAL MANNLICHER SCHOENAUR 1956 7X57 Bolt Action Rifle with Checkered Walnut Stock Here is quality rifle in a versatile caliber that has remained in very good shape since its production in 1957. Features include nicely figured walnut stock with checkering on the grip and wrap around checkering on the factory fore end, steel fore end cap, plastic white line grip cap and butt pad. Other features include a swept back butter knife bolt handle with matching serial number and double set trigger. The 20” barrel has a folding leaf rear sight and silver bead ramp front sight. It has a unique barrel band scope mount and rings, leaving the top receiver markings visible and undisturbed. It carries a few light scratches, primarily on the butt stock and bottom plate.
