Caliber 308 Winchester, Serial # 12038, Model L was made 1968-1996, Made in Austria in 1970, Single trigger, barrel 23 ½ inches, Weight= rifle plus red field widefield 1 ¾ x5 variable scope plus weaver’s mount = 6 ¾ pounds. New price of rifle the last that model L was made was 1996 at that time MSR price was $2250.00 for this rifle. Excellent bore. This is really a sweet high-quality Austria made rifle. Imagine a rifle to carry all day long that has a beautiful solid European walnut stock in 308 calibers. With a factory recoil pad and on it there is a Redfield-widefield 1 ¾ x 5 x variable scope with strong weaver mounts. This also is a very accurate rifle. All this package weighs 6 ¾ pounds. The wood on this rifle is 99% condition and the metal would be 99% except the front sight was removed and the blue was partly removed for around 3 inches long on the top of the tip of the barrel. Where the front sight was removed. Check all pictures they speak for themselves.
