Austrian made bolt rifle chambered for the 7mm Remington Magnum cartridge by Steyr Mannlicher. It has a 25-1/2” round spiraled surface hammer forged barrel steel barrel that is crowned and chamfered. The barrel is fit with an single standing leaf rear sight on an island base, a ramped blade front sight and a barrel-mounted stud for front sling swivel. The action features a jeweled bolt body, butter knife bolt handle, cocking indicator pin at rear of bolt shroud, receiver drilled and tapped for scope mounts, single gold-washed smooth trigger blade, 2-position side safety and a detachable magazine. The receiver is brightly coined finished and is engraved in full coverage with oakleaf engraving with stippled ground; the rearmost left side of the receiver shows a deep relief engraved bores amidst a woodland scene. The bolt shroud and handle have the same oakleaf engraving. The bottom metal as well shows the fine oakleaf engraving with borderline geometric and banknote filigree around the front guard screw. The floorplate of the detachable box magazine shows a deep relief engraved game scene vignette of a boar facing forward amidst a woodland backdrop. Satin oil finished European walnut stock with point-pattern checkered pistol hand grip, rosewood grip cap with Steyr logo insert and forearm tip, cheekpiece with Monte-Carlo comb, wrap-around point pattern checkering on forearm, stud for sling swivel on toe-line of buttstock. 14" LOP to a 3/4" brown Steyr ventilated and serrated rubber recoil pad. 8 Lbs. 2 Oz.
