Very Late Steyr Mannlicher Schoenauer Model 1961 MCA Rifle Chambered in 7x64mm Mfd in 1970 DST Vlaw Mount Zeiss Scope
Description: Another “ESTATE” firearm listing brought to you from Dust 2 Dollars who prides themselves on showing the complete gun in high quality pictures along with a detailed description for your consideration. We offer you a “Very Late” Steyr Mannlicher Schoenauer Model 1961 MCA "Monte Carlo All-purpose" rifle chambered in 7x64mm that was manufactured in 1970. It is recognized that Mannlicher-Schoenauer production officially ceased in 1968. This one has a date code of “70” making it a rare find. The side of the left receiver is marked “STEYR-DAIMLER- PUCH A.G., STEYR” FOLLOWED BY THE Steyr logo. On the left side of the barrel, front of the receiver ring and bolt handle are marked with two proof marks and the date code “70”. The right side of the receiver and barrel are marked with the serial number “59906” and farther up the barrel “ONORMM3170 STLF3”. The 24 inch barrel has an excellent bore with a hooded from sight and two-leaf rear. On the receiver is a claw mount that holds a Carl Zeiss Diatal-D 4x32 scope. The scope has a German #4 type reticle and the original scope covers. The scope is in excellent condition inside and out and functions just fine as does the claw mount mechanism. The bluing on the metal has a bright finish and is in excellent condition. It appears to be an old refinish from the markings. The stock has a pin repaired crack that is sound with no issues. The L.O.P. is 14 inches over the added pad that is in fine condition. The checkering panels are in very fine condition as shown. The rifle has the original magazine and with no import marking. The set trigger tang safety tab is steel and it functions just fine as do the double set triggers. Overall a very fine rifle that was manufactured after the standard production stopped in a caliber not often seen. $1,999 This will be shipped fully insured to your FFL UPS Ground for $60 with signature required. The rifle will be shipped in a new foam lined double wall cardboard box that we have manufactured for us so that your gun arrives safe. Payment to be made by USPS Money Order or Cashier’s Check. All firearms come with a 3-day inspection from D2D’s. SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes Rifle Caliber: 7x64mm Brenneke |
