Description:
The Modern Precision Rifle is an ultra-lightweight chassis rifle designed to break with tradition. Beyond the folding stock, the package is well equipped with a target contour Christensen Arms carbon fiber barrel, carbon fiber comb, free-floating carbon fiber handguard, and 20 MOA rail. The action and stainless steel side-baffle muzzle brake are finished in Black Nitride for a sleek look. The Modern Precision Rifle weighs 6.9 pounds and is backed by the Christensen Arms Sub-MOA Guarantee and Limited Lifetime Warranty.

One of the first things you’ll notice about the Modern Precision Rifle is its signature Christensen Arms carbon fiber barrel. We created the world’s first carbon fiber rifle barrel back in 1995, and we’ve been perfecting the design ever since.
The MPR’s barrel starts with 416R Stainless Steel, which we contour down and wrap with aerograde quality carbon fiber in a multi-directional pattern. The end result is a barrel that’s 4 times stronger than steel and extremely long-lasting. Our barrels are exceptionally strong and rigid, creating excellent heat dissipation, barrel harmonics, and, of course, accuracy.
Additionally, the adjustable stainless steel side baffle muzzle brake does a terrific job managing felt recoil, even in large calibers. This barrel is threaded, as well, so you can easily swap out the brake for a suppressor.

The Modern Precision Rifle’s action is built on the Standard Remington 700 footprint, allowing you to add a variety of accessories. The MPR comes equipped with a 20-MOA Picatinny rail, which is ideal for long-distance shooting.  The action features an enlarged ejection port, improved bolt release, adjustable TriggerTech® Flat Shoe trigger, and AICS-compatible detachable magazine with a tactical mag release.
The MPR’s fluted bolt is exceptionally smooth because it rides on an internal rail for stability. The skeletonized bolt handle and FFT bolt knob look and function great, in addition to their good looks. The bolt knob is also large enough to operate with gloves on.

Two other key features of the Modern Precision Rifle are its Billet aluminum chassis and FFT handguard. The MPR also has a folding stock with a locking hinge that uses Magnalock Technology to keep the stock firmly in place when it’s collapsed. You can easily adjust the cheek rise and length of pull, as well. Finally, the MPR also has an AR-style grip that you can easily swap out.
