This Savage Axis Precision in 6.5 Creedmoor is in excellent used condition and represents an exceptional value in the precision rifle market. Through a partnership with Modular Driven Technologies (MDT), Savage has transformed their budget-friendly Axis II platform into a serious precision instrument with a premium MDT chassis system.
The heart of this upgrade is the MDT chassis featuring a black aluminum frame with FDE (Flat Dark Earth) injection molded skin, adjustable comb height, length of pull spacers, and an MLOK™ compatible forend for accessory mounting. The rifle is built around a 22" carbon steel button-rifled heavy barrel with 5/8-24 threading and an included 2" muzzle brake for significant recoil reduction. The one-piece 20 MOA Picatinny rail provides built-in elevation for long-range optics.
Chambered in the legendary 6.5 Creedmoor and including one polymer MDT AICS pattern magazine, this rifle delivers precision rifle performance at an accessible price point. Sold without scope or rings, this allows you to mount your preferred optic while taking advantage of the exceptional foundation provided by the Savage/MDT collaboration.
