The FN SCAR 16S NRCH is a semi-automatic, civilian-legal variant of FN America’s SCAR family, originally developed for military environments. Chambered in 5.56×45mm NATO, the rifle is known for its reliability, modularity, and lightweight design.

This model features the Non-Reciprocating Charging Handle (NRCH) system, which enhances user comfort and allows ambidextrous operation without the forward motion found on earlier SCAR platforms. Built with a monolithic aluminum upper receiver and a durable polymer lower, the SCAR 16S provides a rigid but lightweight architecture ideal for accessory mounting.
