The IWI X95 (formerly known as the Micro-Tavor, MTAR or MTAR-21) is an Israeli bullpup rifle designed and produced by Israel Weapon Industries (IWI) as part of the Tavor rifle family Upgrades that were implemented from the original TAVOR SAR. These upgrades include an updated fire control trigger pack with a lighter 5-6 lb. trigger pull, repositioning of the ambidextrous magazine release to an AR-15 familiar location, a forearm/handguard with Picatinny rails at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions under removable rail covers, relocation of the charging handle closer to user for better control, a modular pistol grip design that can be swapped between the cutlass and traditional styles, and a lower profile bolt release button to reduce unintentional bolt closures. 5.56x45mm NATO
