Description:
Ogten called the Seneca model with an early serial #of 30650, .in 36 Cal.,with a  28” octagon barrel with a bright very good bore. The blued and case hardened surfaces retain 98% original finish with some mild oxidation on the rear sight and a front sight blade. The brass patchbox, triggerguard, buttplate and nosecap are starting to tone to a goldenrod patina, the walnut stock rates near excellent with a few spots of flaking varnish. A nice example of these popular, well balanced and easy to carry small caliber Thompson Center muzzleloaders. Tate because in the day just ablut all calibers were the sema price so everyone went for the bigger calibers like .50 or .54cal, and hence the .32 and .36 calibers went begging, and few were made.When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith  before  shooting.
