This .50 caliber Thompson Center Arms Hawken flint-lock rifle, the most
established and respected American flintlock, has a 28" blued octagon barrel and
fitted with a factory adjustable rear sight. This model continues as the premier
American flint-lock rifle as it was when it was new selling for $860. People who owned Hawkens
and sold them, wished they hadn't. Here's a chance to get a clean, sharp American
flint-lock rifle, that was rarely fired. Factory wood to metal fit - made by Thompson Center.
This is a magnificent looking gun.
The bore is very good and frizzen, flint mount and cocking mechanisms are
all in excellent working condition. American Walnut stock is mounted with brass
furniture, including a matching serial-number on the inside cover of the patch box.
The factory engraved color case hardened is activated by
double set triggers.
Very clean, like new metal works, excellent condition, rarely fired; $550.
Buyer pays freight and insurance. This gun will be listed only until March 5.
