Description:
With a serial #210103, and .50 cal.,with aa  28” octagon barrel with a bright excellent bore. The barrel retains about 97-98% original blue with a few scattered light handling marks. The brass mountings have aged to a lightly-tarnished warm ochre patina, and the lockplate and hammer retain about 90% original case-hardened finish with some areas of light surface oxidation. The smooth walnut halfstock with left side cheekpiece rates very good plus with some scattered dings and light handling marks from the field and a small chip just ahead of the added Thompson/Center sling swivel stud on the toe line. The original sights are intact, a sling swivel stud has been added to the second ramrod thimble, a brass-tipped synthetic ramrod is included along with a leather nipple protector with brass chain, and a leather sling with quick detach swivels. The double set triggers work well and the action is strong and crisp.
