Serial #W56301, .45 Colt, 20 inch octagon barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Stoeger Model 1873 Winchester Short Rifle manufactured for them by Uberti in Italy, (Stoeger #0281 W73). The Cowboy Action rifle features a beautiful walnut stock and forearm, case-hardened color finished receiver, a Marbles combination tang peep sight with a custom fitted leather stock protector and lever wrap. In excellent condition with only a few very minor handling marks. The barrel retains virtually all 97-99% of the original blue finish and the frame, lever and hammer show similar amounts of the vibrant case-hardened colors. The action has been lightened up a bit and is smooth and slick. The stock and forearm rate excellent with some very minor handling marks. It comes in the original cardboard box numbered to the gun. A beautiful example of these great Cowboy Action carbine-length rifles that is ready for the next event. FFL
