Uberti ~ 1885 ~ High Wall ~ Courteney Stalking Rifle ~ 303 British

Description:
This is a reproduction of the 1885 High Wall by Uberti. The 1885 Courteney stalking rifle is named after the English hunter, explorer and naturalist Courteney Selous (1851-1917). This example of the 1885 Courteney is built on the 1885 action and is chambered in .303 British. The top of the barrel is marked "STOEGER - ACCOKEEK, MD – A.UBERTI - ITALY" in front of the rear barrel sight and "30 British" just ahead of the receiver. The bottom tang is marked with the serial number and "PAT. OCT. 7th 79.". The bottom of the receiver, just rear of the forend, is marked with "Cat. C02". The barrel has a quarter-rib slotted for Weaver rings and a fully-adjustable shallow-V rear sight. It also has a hooded ramp front sight as well as a barrel-mounted sling-swivel. The stocks are two-piece checkered walnut. The Prince of Wales buttstock comes with a rubber recoil pad. Comes with the factory box and paperwork. .303 British
