Savage Model 1899 Takedown in .250-3000 produced in 1924 with a 22" barrel with an excellent bore. Integral island front sight and folding rear sight. Receiver equipped with a Lyman No. 1A tang peep sight, and cartridge counter. Both buttstock and forend show scrapes and dings but solid in every respect with hand cut checkering. Steel buttplate. LOP is 13" 7lb 1oz
This piece has some character but mechanically solid in every respect and with an excellent bore and the Lyman tang peep. Good value for a solid shooter.
