Valmet 412 9.3 X 74R O/U Double Rifle
Description: Valmet 412 9.3X74R Double Rifle. These were made by the Valmet firearms company of Jyvaskla Finland in the 1970s and were known primarily for being very accurate, well made and having interchangable barrels sets. The firm was later taken over by Tikka, though it was started in 1926 and was famous for both it's assult rifles and it's 412 shooting system as it was called. These were a 'do anything' gun with over 30 combinations of barrel sets. The action on this rifle is blacked with a gold outline, tight on face with a mechanical single trigger, safety mounted barrel selector, top lever with opening system very similar to a Remington Model 32. The barrels are 23 1/2" with a barrel mounted scope base and rings, 1 folded sight, adjustable front sight, adjustable barrel regulation, bores, chambers and blue are all in new condition. The stocks are walnut with nice fit, finish and chequering, 14" length of pull to factory plate.
