Description:

After WWII, Valmet manufactured approx 2500 L-35 pistols for commercial sale, largely using military overrun parts in the serial range 6800-9300, this example near NIB with spare magazine with takedown tool in original factory-matching shipping box. One of the earlier examples, it still retains the loaded indicator in a rectangular housing, the slide markings having been altered from the military VKT to the commercial VALMET/L-35. Mechanical features are otherwise identical to the late military pistols other than the frame no longer having the shoulder stock lug. This all matching pistol has the correct brown mottled plastic grips each molded with the VKT logo and secured with a single screw. Correct magazine with an in-the-white body and blued floorplate. Complete with spare magazine, takedown tool, and factory-matching cardboard shipping box.

Condition:

Near new, the front strap only having a few microscopic dings and the right side of the receiver only having a few scratches. Grips are as new, magazines and takedown tool still with congealed grease. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. VG box with stains and scuffs, factory taping, very legible, faded inked serial number on end of box. An extraordinary opportunity to buy a virtually new, early, commercial L-35 as assembled right after WWII, with accessories, in its factory-matching box!
