The Black Mamba combines features from Volquartsen‚s Scorpion Target Pistol series with the widely-praised features of the Ruger MK. IV. The pistol features a stainless steel barrel that is housed in an aluminum shroud for improved accuracy and is paired with the company‚s Competition-grade bolt that features a DLC finish for improved reliability. The frame consists of a polymer Ruger MK. IV frame that has been upgraded with Volquartsen‚s Accurizing Kit to give it a crisp 2.25-lb trigger pull along with an upgraded magazine release and magazine basepads designed to improve feeding by allowing more positive contact between the bolt and the topmost loaded round. A Picatinny rail on the receiver allows for quick mounting of target optics.

This model features a Tungsten Cerakote finish and a 4.5-inch barrel. Two 10-round magazines are included.
