This very scarce K31, numbered as a commercial firearm as reflected by the “P” serial number prefix, was one of just 500 pieces made to commemorate 75 years of the Swiss Arms Makers Association, from 1912-1987. Standard configuration straight pull carbine with 1-15 rear sight, matching barrel and magazine. Chamber embellished with gold inlaid “352” along with Swiss Cross in Shield over chamber surmounting “Jubilaum/SBV ASA/75 Jahre”. Special gold plaque inset into the right side of buttstock referencing 75th year commemorative, adjacent military inspection marking. Blued steel and brass muzzle cap with Swiss Cross. Factory braided sling as usually attached to the higher grade commemoratives. A fabulous and super-impressive K31 commemorative, sure to please any collector of Swiss arms.
