This Swiss M.78 Vetterli Bolt Action Rifle is in excellent condition. It is chambered in .41 Swiss RF (RIM FIRED). Some of these rifles were converted to center fire, this one has not been. The metal surfaces retain 95% of the arsenal reapplied bluing. You can see some faint pin pricks beneath the refinishing. There is a crisp unit marking on the comb of D7 + CI. There are receiver and Swiss markings throughout. The bolt handle and ramrod show moderate oxidation staining. The action appears to function well mechanically. .41 Swiss
