Standard configuration trainer rifle with 25.5” medium weight round bbl, military style front sight and tangent rear sight from 25-200 meters. Single shot receiver is marked with maker’s legend and “BUG” proof marks. Military style trigger and safety. Smooth military style walnut stock with provision for sling. Factory cleaning rod present. Smooth steel unmarked buttplate. Composition trigger guard is checkered on lower surface with small bruise.
Synopsis:
Very desirable and all original Walther Sport Model Military trainer rifle with unnumbered bolt.
Condition:
VG+ original condition, the receiver and rear portion of barrel having scattered oxidative flecking as photographed, approximately 95% original blue showing areas of expected wear, no suggestion of any touch-up. Same consideration applies to walnut stock that has a scattering of dings most pronounced on the lower portion but retains most of its original finish. Bright bore. Perfect manual mechanics. A very nice, all original trainer made by one of Germany’s most revered manufacturers. C&R eligible. A HISTORIC INVESTMENT!
