"Walther G43 8mm Mauser (R39187) ATX

"

SN: 2848b. German semi-automatic rifle made by Walther in 1944. Excellent condition. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Metal has 95% of wartime finish with only two small patches of cleaned rust on the bolt and buttplate. Wood has only minor handling dings with clear Waffen stamps. Rough-cast bolt and receiver and pale wood finish characteristic of last-ditch production. Non-matching bolt which may have been a factory force-fit. Action functions correctly including hold-open and safety. Magazine is made by Sudmetall AG (avx/WaA204) and stamped ""K43"". Comes with capture papers, leather sling and spare springs.
