This 2nd serial range Walther .22 Long Rifle single shot DSM training rilfe has a police stamp on the right buttstock. The 25.5"" barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The top of the barrel has the WALTHER banner logo followed by Sportmodell. The left side of the barrel has the German eagle proof followed by the crown over N proof followed by Nitro in script. The right side at the chamber has crown over B, U, G proofs followed by 5.4mm. The right side of the receiver has crown over N, B, and U proofs and the top is marked Waffenfabrik Walther over Zella-Mehlis Thuringen. The gun has approx. 97% blue with a little missing at the heel of the buttplate. The stock, which may have been lightly refinished, is excellent with little wear. The only marking is the police stamp on the right buttstock. The bottom of the trigger guard bow is lightly checkered. The front swivel and rear sling slot and hook are present. The action functions correctly. This top of the line police-marked Walther DSM is fit for the finest German training rifle collection.
