This Watson Bros. .450/400 3" NE double rifle with 26" barrels remains in very good to Excellent Condition. It has excellent bright bores with strong rifling. It locks up tight. It reatins most of its original bluing and has traces of the color case hardening finish on the receiver remaining. The Firing pins are set in bushings and are easily removeable for repair or cleaning. The Wood has some small dings and dents throughout but no major deficencies. This rifle is ready to be taken on safari again, as my now sadly passed away friend and client did a couple of years ago.
A potential customer pointed out that there is has been a repair done to the toe, it is quite well done hence me not noticing it, in the interest of transparency I am pointing it out.
