This Vanguard combines Weatherby's popular Vanguard lineup with First Lite's Fusion camo. First Lite Fusion camo is a proprietary mix of "crackalature" shapes and colors derived through nature-based algorithms and oriented for macro and micro disruption. Be careful where you set this rifle down because it can disappear at distances from 2-2,000 yards. Vanguard barrels are cold hammer forged which make them much more accurate and reliable than other rifles in their price range. To back this up, all Vanguards are guaranteed to shoot a 3-shot group of .99" or less at 100 yards (SUB-MOA) from a cold barrel when used with Weatherby® factory or premium ammunition. All Vanguards have a one-piece machined bolt body and a fully enclosed bolt sleeve. They also sport an integral recoil lug and hinged floorplate. 6.5-300 Weatherby Magnum
