Vintage Weatherby Vanguard Deluxe in excellent condition. Serial number V68773 indicates this rifle was made in 1971 or 1972. It is chambered in .270 Win. with a Nikon Monarch UCC 6.5-20x44 scope mounted. The barrel has some very minor scratches on the top near the muzzle. The wood is in excellent condition. This rifle must have been sitting in someone safe it‚s entire life.

The .270 Winchester (.270 Win) chambering is highly desirable, offering a classic, flat-shooting hunting cartridge that remains incredibly popular.



The Stock: High-grade California walnut with a mirror-like high-gloss finish.



The Diamond Inlay: The signature white maplewood diamond inlay on the bottom of the pistol grip cap is the classic visual hallmark of premium Weatherby legacy models.



Accents: Fine-line hand checkering on the grip and fore-end, bordered by a rosewood fore-end tip with contrasting white spacers.



Metalwork: A high-lustre, deep-polished blued finish on the barrel and action.
