Collector Weatherby Mark V 460-W Germany

Description:
PENDING SALE-This has to be one of the finest examples of a West German Weatherby 460 out there. It has never been fired, as evidenced by the unmarked bolthead, clean ports and deep blue muzzle. The scope mounting holes still have their blanks in them. This rifle has the P prefix to the serial number, indicating it was manufactured after Roy Weatherby received his patent on his revolutionary 9-lug action. At that time, they still loaded the 500gr bullet to 2,700 fps, for 8,000 ft/lbs of energy. Of course, this round can be loaded down to 458, Lott, or even 45-70 ballistics when max power is not needed.

If you need a W German 460 for your collection, or have just always this beast, you WILL NOT find a better one out there.
